#360 RE: McBeanburger #357

McBean, I hadn't seen that background on him until I googled it at your suggestion. What was the post number of the ripoff report you posted? Given the number of boards I am moderating and Level 2s I follow, I don't read every post on every board, unless someone calls my attention to it.

If the stock were performing well...

But given the pattern of the past month, it is part of an emerging picture which does not give me confidence. When AGGI first caught my attention, there was strong volume and PPS appreciation.

I follow stocks where I hope I have a chance of making at least 25%, hopefully 50% gains, and I thought this was one of them. Increase in volume is generally a good sign.

But the trading of late does not inspire me. I can and do change my mind about plays all the time. It is one thing to be wrong, another thing to stay wrong. This game is about preservation of capital, plus trying to invest with the greatest potential of making a profit. All information must be factored in. Ultimately, however, the market makes the decision.

The first broker I interned for back in 1980 told me that a stock's price reflects all information known by the market about a company, both good and bad. If the market doesn't provide confirmation of good news, sometimes the stock is merely unknown. But often, it is because there is some additional information yet to be revealed. It's almost uncanny how in hindsite, by looking at the chart we can see how the market anticipated certain events or information.

There are other energy plays out there. I think I will go back to my previous strategy of just swing trading moving stocks.
