I doubt they would rush to give bad news just ahead of the vote.

Good or bad, if it's a material news, it must be announced in a SEC filing within a certain time period. And it certainly cannot be timed with the conference presentation.
We can only guess what type of "new information" on NEO will be presented in a week, but it seems not to be some material news. Maybe, just a peek into an early clinical data. That would be my expectation.
