William Gates is the exception to the rule. On average, the most successful people have IQ's that are significantly less than 100. Believe it, or not!
Once again, great managers are never born that way; they are shaped, fashioned and honed on the anvil of experience. Few exceptions to this rule exist. But then again, even with an exceptional manager with an exceptional vision, a company is doomed to failure if that manager lacks the wherewithal that is essentially required to gather the necessary talent. Any company must possess a trifecta of an exceptional management team, exceptional talent, and exceptional products, to shoot for ultimate success. A company having but only management, management, management is doomed from the get-go, IMO.
By the way, a perfect score on the SAT was 1600, not 2400.
