Thanks for the post and for alerting me to this company and its products. Very interesting technology; however, when it comes to guns being in a safe; your NOT safe if your gun is in a safe!

The only guns that should ever be locked up are the ones in storage and not currently being used. When it comes time to grab a gun and defend yourself, a key, fingerprint or any other than an immediate grasp of the gun is a barrier between you and safety. I'm surprised the NRA is endorsing it to tell you the truth, but then again they have become a little too politically correct these days. However, they are still the best defense this nation has against the anti-gunners.
