Alan Re Stacked charts on Stockcharts ???

Sorry Alan I guess missinterpreted your request. I just saw a png file and assumed someone had done it the way I suggested.

I agree you can do it on stockcharts in the form as shown. But I really wouldn't call it stacked charts, as there are strict limitations. So now I'm not sure what you are asking, sounds like you can do it, right?. I assume you are using the second chart as a price indicator with style as candlestick. Sounds like you cannot annotate and save. I just tried it and had no problem, copy of chart shown below stored in a test folder on Stockcharts.

However for me I usually like to have a few indicators above and below the chart, which I can do by carefully orgainizing the order in the list. But the second chart is just a price indicator tied to the primary chart, I can't have any overlays or indicators on the second chart, at least I've never figured out how to do that.

When you save as a live annotated chart its saved as the primary chart name although you can add a note to reference the other chart.

Let me know how you are doing it, as it seems to work for me, maybe we can figure out whats going on. Although I have found the support desk email system at Stockcharts to be quite good at getting back to you, especially if you carefully detail your request, just makes it easier for them to respond quickly.

Happy trading / investing

Quick test chart with an overlay and a couple of indicators and annotation example, but this reallyis just one chart, they can't be separated.
