Mark wrote at least 4 books on the subject, and some people here call him stupid, that's like a 3rd grader telling an astrophysicist he doesn't know anything about outer space. Microarray is his and his wife's life.

IMO the FDA bought Arrayit's system to verify that it does what Mark told them in their meeting and in the application to the FDA, before the FDA approves whatever Arrayit submitted to the FDA for approval.

And the transparency mentioned in the article in TechCrunch has to do with peer review publication in journals of what the tests do and how they are performed. There have not been any peer reviewed article about the allergy test or any other Arrayit test.

Peer-reviewed (refereed or scholarly) journals - Articles are written by experts and are reviewed by several other experts in the field before the article is published in the journal in order to insure the article's quality. (The article is more likely to be scientifically valid, reach reasonable conclusions, etc.)
