As you probably know, a RICO charge brought by litigating Fannie shareholders via a complaint to the FBI has two distinct features in its favor: treble damages in a criminal offense; and no shield of documents for GOV privilege meaning all 11,000 documents would HAVE to be released to prosecuting attorneys, even if redacted for public viewing. A RICO charge would also extend the time period for statute of limitations in purely civil matters.
