It is also possible that they aren't playing any games with the numbers -- just releasing them as they become available to release. Lots of straight-shooter companies like to release information on Friday afternoons, so as to take emotions out of trading decisions. Just the facts, ma'am.
I don't know. I agree that the CEO isn't selling his shares at a high price unless there is better news. But I do like seeing the investments in faster production and additional staff. And there were some hints as to international orders in the PR. And they are now no longer at the abysmal levels of orders and revenues that they were last year. Perhaps this is the stepping stone on their way to great things.
I still believe that they aren't going to seriously target the consumer market unless they at least partner with a major company -- if not get themselves bought out.
