Obviously #1 and dragging ones feet isnt necessary an indication of laziness, its long established hes not lazy, there can be other reasons.
Oh how you love to twist. There was a theory of a backdoor paymemt. However more information has come light that better illuminates the flow.
1) We know Sonny Research Team and Zimmer are involved with Sintx Hip implant. Zimmers involvement suggests strategic partnership. Sonnys research team appears to be aiding development as a third party.
2) Feb 2017 the completion of a milestone occurred
3) Q2'17 Zimmer pays 2.5m to an entity for completion of a milestone.
4) July 2017 Sonny loans 2.5m to Amedica.
Based on the above evidence it suggests that Zimmer paid Sonny/research team 2.5m for reaching a milestone on the development of hip implant which it is developing with Amedica. Sonny then used said funds to help carry Amedica for 6 months until I guess financials could be filed. I do not think its mere coincidence that both a milestone was achieved (with all mentioned parties) and that Zimmer paid sum for the achievement of a milestone. Nor do I think that Zimmer paying 2.5m and Sonny loaning 2.5m is a coincidence either.
