If some BP really believed in any of the drugs in the IPIX pipeline, do you really think they would have IPIX go through these hoops? I don't.

I assume this would take many months. In a quick non-specific google search I saw 30 to 120 days, if that’s true then certainly a add on patent claim to an existing patent in 30 days is not impossible.
