Actually just one share, bought or sold to yourself will make e-trade give you a call,but my point, it will never happen, you can put a bid buy at 6, and a order to sell at 7, all day long, and its perfectly legit, you will see this happening a lot, as a stock goes down, there will be a big dump on the bid, and then the ask grows, so the buyer of the big dump, mm most likely, takes his shares he just bought on the bid, and throws them on the ask,
