WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump’s choice for ambassador to the United Nations, Heather Nauert, has withdrawn from consideration for the job for 'family reasons'.
Nauert was a host of the Fox New Channel when Trump chose her to be the State Department spokeswoman. Nauert has no diplomatic experience.
Reuters has learned Nauert withdrew herself because she employs a foreign nanny who is in the United States on a Tourist Visa.
This is reminiscent of Donald Trump who built the steel structure of Trump Tower using Polish steelworkers he brought to the United States on Tourist Visas which do not permit paid work.
