prom Averaging down has not worked well over the years. But buying shares and paying 50% of book value is not the same thing as paying 2% of book value. Bankruptcy does not mean that there will be nothing for shareholders. After the creditors have been paid the remainder will be distributed to shareholders. Since SIAF has so little debt in relation to book value there would seem to be a good chance that there would be more distributed than the current market value of the shares.

Over the years the pps has more than doubled several times. Traders could therefore have made a lot of money by trading these shares.
