It is a stock. You don't commit to it like a person. It only deserves loyalty if it performs. If it fails to perform quarter after quarter you do not make excuses up and it is your right to demand more and question management. You do not have to sit around and be abused repeatedly. You are not a battered spouse are you? We should all look at a stock with eyes wide open. Sure we want it to do well if we are long and sure we will cheer the good times, but to go around with blinders is not wise.
