Lowman gave his reasons for getting out of NAGP (NVMG at the time) in a post in May of 2007.

Basically, failure to deliver on promises made. A recurring sentiment to this day, it seems.

I was also in with him in a couple others he lists. He sold this quietly, without fanfare, so he wouldn't affect the pps and harm others who were still believing.

He believed the best in others until proven otherwise. An admirable trait.
