dasmort-i don't necessarily agree.

i think the last several months have been sobering for all.

if i were anxious about missing a comeback in apdn, i'd leave a little in the stock while reallocating the balance into a long-term sustainable investment such as a diversified etf or into well-capitalized, 21st century oriented (e.g., digital, AI, IOT) large caps - and never look back.

this way, the downside risk is strictly limited, while being assured, on balance, of an upside.

if apdn recovers, great, some realized losses can be offset. however, if mgt continues to dilute the pps into the ground, then a wipeout is avoided.

oftentimes in these situations investors make the mistake of averaging down or liquidating the position and then transferring proceeds into another speculative stock with the intention of recouping losses. That's the "appointment in Samarra" strategy imo. Each path will almost invariably lead to losing the entire investment.

legacy longs face a grim choice, but i'm a firm believer in financial recovery starting by making the most logical choice, regardless of the entailing s-t pain.

who knows where apdn will end up. but if history is any indication of the future, i'd want to lay in plans accordingly.

no recommendations here, all just my opinion.
