Johnnyo

That's exactly what Im afraid of. We know Kim would never admit it
until 6 months later, The army has had plenty of time to have tested
the shoot packs

Of course, because things are taking so long, you believe "those tests came out negative." Will anything KBLB does or gets involved in ever be a positive? Seriously....

Did it ever occur to you that the Army does not want anyone to know the results of those tests? The Army is not going to tell you or anyone else what the results of the shoot packs tests were. The most you will hear is that the Army feels they are satisfactory. They are in charge here, IMHO.

It isnt strange in the slightest.
If you have ever had to work with a DOD contract you would know they are actually moving fast for the dod.

I spent a year on producing 5 prototypes for hum-v wheel wells attempting to make them bomb proof.
From the day I delivered the first part to testing was 15 months.
After the test we made 5 more.
Those were tested under different conditions but it took another 6 months for the second test.
After that test it was about 18 months till they decided to go with a different design.
2 years later the parts were starting production.

Minus the year spent on the first design it was over 5 years from delivery of the prototype to production.

One thing to keep in mind is the design they used was the first one given. They had it at least 6 months before I was ever working on it
