I’ve been reading a lot about maraviroc and cancer. It seems the CCR5 receptor is a major player in metastasis and cancer growth and inflammation which promotes a tumor supportive environment. I was looking at all of the maraviroc studies they’re conducting which seem to last two years. It is surprising to me that Pfizer and some of the bigger drug companies don’t do a circulating tumor cell endpoint efficacy to shorten the trial length. Is Pestell just that much smarter than they are?
