If I recall correctly titanium does not perform well as a femoral head, I forget why. That may have had something to do with it.
You could think of the planet as full of apes but I prefer to think of it as full of children. I dont mean this as adults behaving like literal children, even though that does happen. I mean that the apes you refer to have limited understanding and need guidance like children to help them see beyond their Id.
