I think Sonny is more concerned with Si3N4 broad adoption than ruling the ortho world. Just my opinion as I dont know him but his publications suggest a man trying to improve a flawed healthcare system.
Zimmer needs Si3N4. Ive said this repeatedly. As such any negotiations with them is more even footing. In fact Zimmer needs Sintx more than Sintx needs Zimmer especially if Sonny can attract more partners.
There would be no buyout, it would be merger if Zimmer is indeed R&D partner. Either Zimmer is developing products using Si3N4 or its working with some other ceramic for some stupid reason.
