Yeah, the local Kibbutz will be thrilled to water their crops with salt water.

untold millions are made from the salt in the dead sea(one of the riches that may prompt the future invasion of israel by russia) and great salt lake



So now ZN is going to prevent a Russian invasion of Israel so as to get sea salt? How is this going to benefit ZN?

It's true that the Dead Sea is a source of mineral wealth. But the last thing Israel needs is a new source of saltwater. They have the aforementioned Dead Sea to the southeast and the Mediterranean Sea to the West.

Considering all that, do they really need a salt water well punched through the fresh water aquifer in the middle of some of their most productive cropland?
