The milestones don't have anything to do with GRNVAC1. Merck is using the telomerase-as-target in two of their own platforms.

It would, however, be interesting to know what the "joint development committee" is working on.

The licensing news on the LAMP today is also interesting. So much for the theory that GRNVAC1 is on the way out. Looks like they're securing the tech for the eventual commercial rollout. Apparently the rumors of its death were greatly exaggerated. Along with the faulty notion that primates were needed in the hESC IND package, I hope nobody paid any money to our pseudo analyst for his views.
