I’ve produced that analysis at least twice - in Texas, a standard over the road tanker transports on average 400 bbl. of crude.

The actual allowable transport capacity depends on the specific gravity of the crude, and the type of truck, but the 400 bbl. average is the common figure of merit for planning.

In reality, capacity is generally limited to something between 260 - 280 barrels for most operators.

In my prior analysis of MMEX’s plan, which accounts for 25-round trips per day (more on this to come), at 400 bbl., the haul-in of crude could supply the name-plate 10,000 BPD supply. Unfortunately, that doesn’t account for intermediate stream haul-out - which could not occur in the dead-heading out-bound tanker. It also does not account for any waste haul-out.

MMEX’s Type O TCEQ permit must account for the required number of truck/tanker trips on a daily basis. Flaws in the modeling and assumption guarantee problems for MMEX in that regard.

Any hauler would be bringing in crude from terminals in Crane, or more distant locations. Penta, with an 18-unit fleet would have to dedicate the entire current fleet to MMEX, an unproven, unfunded share-selling scheme. Seems unlikely.

I’m not going to re-present the entire analysis again - too boring (for me). This is one of the many problems MMEX created for itself by choosing a stranded, isolated location without any access to crude or refined products transmission pipelines.

Mad J. is clearly not "one smart dude." On the surface, he appears to be borderline retarded. Given the totality of his failures, ranging from errors in filings, bad math, kindergarten-level plans, etc., the elevator clearly does not go all the way to the top...

Serious question, how many trucks would be adequate? I actually think the smaller fleet would make economic sense, Penta wants to get in, they will probably give MMEX a great deal to transport crude and product. Not to mention if they receive a large contract they would be able to lease more trucks and 5000 gallon liquid bulk trailers. Even better because the equipment would be new. Man, That Hanks guys is one smart dude.
