Lol, you're stretching smoker. Being in the same vacinity is not the same as being right next to.

While you talk about the distant past I stick to the consistent past to present. Simply put from Dr Hoffman to Dr Bal and Centerpulse to Zimmer the connection is strong and always present. In fact Dr. Hoffman was connected to Centerpulse while he began Amedica with Ashok. If someone from Ceramtec or Ceramatec/Coorstek had joined Amedicas board instead of Dr. Link from Centerpulse I might agree with you. However, Dr. Link didnt make a beeline from Zimmer acquired Centerpulse to Amedica for no reason. Dr. Link was heavily invested in Amedica series A all the way though.

To gain influence over another company the best position to install a friendly executive is Chairman. Installing a board member is also beneficial especially if you can maintain majority; doesnt Sonny still hold his board seat in addition to being Chairman?
The next best position to maintain influence is CEO. The final position for controlling another company is CFO.

The public company trinity is held by Dr
Bal. Whomever can influence Dr. Bal can influence SiNtx. Dr. Bal has the most ties to Zimmer given his long history with them and Zimmers "donations" to SiNTx testing.
