An opinion with nothing to back it up, except now asking others to come up with a specific utilization rate.
You personally don’t think MoviePass preventing its subscribers from seeing movies is keeping the utilization rate down... is illogical.
Baffling, in fact.
I have several times (at least four) attempted to go see a movie with my MoviePass subscription and was provided no option anywhere for the movie I wanted to see, though playing at several theaters even listed as such on the MoviePass app, yet claimed in the morning, afternoon, evening, and night that no more screenings were available that day. Or the movie was at a partner theater 20+ miles away, and getting there was not going to happen.
My utilization would be higher had MoviePass provided the use of the subscription per the terms it sold it under and currently claims to be: to see three movies per month at 91% of theaters across the country. The only place I find MoviePass allows viewing is at partner theaters.
