"Second hand accounts" get reported in the news on a daily basis...all valid...
Here's a "first hand account" basically alleging the same thing:
Avoid this doctor at all cost. He's all about racking up the Medi-Cal and Medicaid bills so therefore he does unnecessary procedures and then repeats those same procedures to and three times. I came referred from another urologist who had already done several procedures, documented them, and provided them to Dr. Gershman who promptly said that he couldn't trust the other doctors results and would prefer to run all the tests again.
