6.28 g/ton gold over a meter width would be very encouraging....if this grade was continuous. It isn't, based on the first few holes.

And the much ballyhooed "shear zone" appears to be a bust.

And no, grades do not generally increase with depth. If anything, grades near the surface are often enriched due to supergene enrichment processes.
