It has been a long time ago and I do not remember the timeline, nor all the details.

But... By my recollection, the default on the loans was intentional by the guys who got in control of the company. If Dr. Pandey was not forced out, I believe he would have paid the loans and made a successful company.

Also if memory serves me right, the guy that took over the company was part of the group that provided the loans in the first place. I could be wrong, as this was a long time ago.

Posted again, mainly to post the new developments (by other research) in the fight against sickle cell anemia in case it could help anyone. One person we knew about actually tried Xechem's product for 3 months and said it really helped her, but she was unable to get any more.

Water under the bridge. On to greener pastures now.
