I'm not responding to doinko or mimi but to anyone else interested about what the company told me about the contestants....... there are over 15,000 applications, they are screening them down to two hundred and doing casting calls on those to make their selections.
As for the additional few at the hockey game... IMO it is being done give the impatient whiners something. I'd rather see no news till its all done and have the cry babies go away.

You sound very misinformed.They should tell more about the program to build excitement not the other way around as you have stated.As far as i can tell and this is only my opinion that this show will never air and the company is a scam pink sheet b/s stock. jmho
