Company can't be an owner of itself, what would be disclosed that NHPI is a greater than 5% owner of NHPI?

If the shares were not returned to treasury the only way you'd tell they were bought back would be the float and held at DTC number which NHPI decided not to disclose when they updated the share count on OTC markets.

The repurchased shares would not be in the float, just makes me wonder why they didn't disclose the float? Perpahs they did not want to let the true float be known quite yet.
