The BMW I 8 has an 18 mile electric-only range.

After that, it is the gasoline engine running to recharge it.

I guess if puttering around a small area is your thing then have at it.

Seems to me a waste to spend $145.000 + on a car that promises only 18 miles of "clean" driving.
