I think they will keep extending the deadline as long as Benny responds showing progress.

I would guess, avoiding bankruptcy is Benny's motivation. Remember some of the assets of the company go to Markiplier, if REDG goes into bankruptcy, I'm not sure but Campiti might get his IP back, also. I'm also unsure of what the convertible debt holder would do, should REDG go into bankruptcy.
