Respectfully, shares can't magically appear. the only possible sources besides mm inventory would be employee or pelosi. neither give me any concern.

how do you know the shares are not from MM inventory? that is their primary job, to make the market and fill orders from their inventory. it's impossible to rule that out as part of daily trading.

40-30 drop seems more like the overall markets, it's not much of a drop given the past few trading weeks. many well known big board stocks have lost even larger percentages.

Anyway it's not worth debating over and trying to come up with horror scenarios. it's funny no matter how solid a company and stock is there is always something to pick at if one looks hard enough.

i suppose if i were trying to day or swing trade this, the price action would bother me, but that's not my immediate goal.
