With my two brokers - if I have a buy\sell order and don't put All or None I get charged the one time fee for any orders that went through that day. So if I sold 1000 shares and it took 10 orders to sell that day it would cost me $4.95. Check with your broker.

That's not how it works. You get charged one commission weather it takes 1 or 100 trades to fully execute your order.
