I've never heard of them, but at night, I take four different glaucoma medications with a micropipette for the reason they state on their website, the capacity of the eye is much smaller than the typical eye drop size (50-60 µL). They claim their device will dispense a drop of 6-8 µL, which is much smaller than what I use (my ophthalmologist says the capacity of the eye is about 25 and that's about what I use). Most of the typical eyedrop is excess and is just wasted, and can cause side effects -- plus many of these drugs are very expensive and stretching a bottle by a factor of 2 or 3 x adds up to savings over time. I know people who do the same as I do but with even smaller drops, but surface tension makes it difficult to dispense a drop smaller than 10 µL, so I'm curious how they have managed to do it. Also, on a cursory inspection, it wasn't clear to me how their device works, is it a general purpose dispenser or one that comes preloaded. There is some work involved in putting the disposable tip on my micropipette and getting the dose into the pipette, I imagine their device is much more user friendly.
