If you really believe in "the new power source" and want to do some due diligence rather than just hoping for good news you could call or email Prof David Mitlin at Clarkson (contact info is on his website at Clarkson - just google "Professor David Mitlin Clarkson" and his email and phone number come up) for more info as he is supposedly the source of the university partnership (the Clarkson website does mention other industry partners of Prof. Mitlin but it says nothing about ALYI - and obviously that is not due to non-disclosure as ALYI is PR'ing the relationship to the point of even calling him "Alternet System's David Mitlin" in one PR). Specifically, what is the nature of the engagement?
