My St. George CKYS visit with CEO,
Hello all. Just drove all night to get home from Calif. today. Sorry about no news or updates but was busy and also had no internet since Tuesday for the most part.
Ok seems my interview with Jim Plant of Cyberkey was well worth it but did not buy the stock yet. Seems some have bought so congratulations.
Jim Plant spoke with me by phone and originally was going to be unavailable on Wednesday of last week. He then rescheduled his morning to allow one hour of his time to discuss the company and give a tour of the St. George offices. He ended up allowing me 2 hours.
Jim and his COO Tom Heaton were present when we sat in the board room and talked.
Jim verified that the O/S and and Authorized were correct according to the CKYS board. He said the float of 180 million was a little higher. Didn't ask specifics since he was on a roll chatting and it flowed very well.
I ask if the 5 million had been bought yet by company officers per the PR and he said almost all done and that he had bought most of the shares.
Below are the questions I ask and Jim's answers
1. Do you have a valid time frame you can share as to the Audited Financials? Cannot give a time frame although they are coming.
2. Is the 2.7 EPS still accurate? Yes
3. Are you comfortable with 5.4 cents (I doubled the 2.7 cents)for the projected year? Something should be out within 30 days to verify the figures.
4. Is uplisting a priority after the Audited Financials? Yes definitely.
5. Do you have the patent that is mentioned as pending in the July 28th , 2006 PR that uses USB Digital Rights Management process? We have two patents. One for Block Management and one for the Digital Rights Management process as well as 5 other patents pending.
The Block Management Patent deals with bad sectors on a hard drive or flash drive. Other companies say they have it but Cyberkey has the patent.
6.Are you aware of a short position based on public information or other sources? They do have a substantial short position of approx. 29 million shares thus the present price range. It appears by all indicators that Schwab owned UBS is perpetuating this shorting.
He laughed while answering this one (seems to know whats going to happen to the shorters based on the companies present and future success)and I told him I would try to have a friend in this area assist his company. He is looking forward to the connection.
7.Tell me what makes your flash drives different than every other dime a dozen flash drive? Propriatary chip on the flash drives with programable information.
We have many different products and in the coming weeks and months you will see announcements that include some of the people we will be working with to bring more products to market.
8.Why are people not able to get information from Big Apple when they call?
(He actually answered without me having to ask. He said that their company has 35 employees presently and continue to hire. I saw one lady hired during the two hours I was in the office. He said that Big Apple has about 130 employees and that 15 work for Jim Plant exclusively.
Said that some shareholders are frustrated because Big Apple only releases what is out already. He also said that the St. George offices are open to whoever wishes to come to visit.
9. They are looking to move their California Manufacturing plant to Utah and are looking at property in the St. George area. He gave me a tour of the offices and he said they will take over the whole building soon since other companies have already given notice to not renew their lease and Cyberkey has signed to take those spaces. The other part of the building is being finished. It appears the building is two floors with about 2500 sq feet per floor.
10. What is the time frame in receiving all the accounts receivable from the govt. from the 25 million contract? This is a (P.O.) Purchase Order contract that is a regular govt. contract with terms consistent with most businesses. Also he told me that the govt. contract yeilded a 22% profit. so that is a 5.5 million dollar profit.
11. Jim Plant referred to many other deals coming in the future and to look for PR's etc.(As we met he took me to the computer and showed me the PR released on Wednesday morning and says more on their way. He even talked briefly to me Yesterday by phone and said to continue watching this week. He and Tom both gave me their cell phones and Jim ask me to call him in Hawaii.
12. How are your Sequiam Biometrics Keep Safe products doing? He led me out to his pickup and unlatched the back seat and showed the previously hidden Keep Safe. He ran his fingerprint across the safe and it opened easily. I tried it and it only gave me a red light and stayed locked. He said they retail for $499 and are flying off the shelf so to speak.
13. I mentioned Volvo concerning ID systems to start cars and neither Tom nor Jim said anything. Make your own conclusions based on the Volvo commercial if you have seen it.
14. Tell me about IPOD Integration if possible? Web Portal makes available MP3 and MP4 players that are OEM from some other company branded for Cyberkey. He said he was not completely happy with the products at this time.
Hope this helps and Jim and I will keep in touch. Didn't ask for nor did he at any time tell me things that would be considered insider information. Do your own DD before chosing to invest. It was well worth my time to visit Jim, Tom and their company Cyberkey.
I walked away quite impressed at these prices. Wish I had opportunity to buy the day I saw all this or the next day. Best to all and wish you well.
