Unless we end up with huge hemp farms aka crappy weed we will never see wacky tobacy at tobacco.... I think too many people demand a high quality product.

I'm sure prices will drop to below your black market prices eventually once it's legal nationwide, but you'll never see a pack of 20 joints for $5 no sir.

Even if it ever got that cheap the local and national 'sin taxes' would drive the prive back up. I remember in college i could give one of my room mates $10 for 2 12 packs of beer (good beer stuff that was $15 per 12) because he could get into a duty free store (military)

Even the price of alcohol is easily twice what it should be because of taxes weed will be no different.

And I'm perfectly fine with that as long as it's readily available, legal and of course safe to consume.

Big tobacco will win from this. They will grow cannabis en masse. Then they will test it in house. This is over. The cost per pound will go down to the basement to maybe 2x cost of tobacco. Hemp oil same price as olive oil. There is no big money in this after the 3rd year of federal legalization unless you're a big producer.
