I think they owe a meaningful update. Not ready to start criticising the PRs yet. But I’m disappointed.

Any inkling of what’s likely to happen on the appeal from your sources? I have long thought that what was most likely to happen is that both appeals get dismissed. I would say that if no oral hearing is required, and the appeal judges can decide based on the written arguments without questions, that likely means they aren’t going to say the trial judge got it wrong - but I’m keeping my confirmation bias in check.
