To issue = to supply or distribute. Which is the same as a payment.

Thanks Empty, that was helpful. I actually bought 7,300 shares yesterday for 0.218 and others quickly followed after I bought. It's only for 2 weeks because I need the money but I may be able to improve my overall position. And I need a win, mentally.

5c is pretty much a given IMO. But let's see what they are really up to.

Other companies don't manipulate share price with misleading announcements. Dividends should be announced when the money is there to pay it.
It was already time with Q3 report to give exact date and stop BS. But no. These guys are the kings of BS and market treats them accordingly.
Stop misleading, share price manipulation and perform instead vague promises and utter BS and the market will respect you.

My hunch is no dividend at all but next year they push themselves to finance with dilution 2-3 cents dividend once. That will the last "trigger" for this share and hopefully by the end of 2019 this is a sub penny stock.

If it had been any other company than SIAF the market would have priced in the cash dividend by now (by which I mean 5-6 months ago), which just shows how deep the credibility issue is.
