Doni, I mean this in all honesty and with no offense, you will never be a successful investor. You either need to learn more about it, or put your money in the hands of someone more qualified.
I'm not referring to your request that Charlie give proof that anyone dumped shares, but to your general attitude of requiring proof for every little thing.
You take the company's word as gold, and everyone else is in doubt. It should be the opposite. Why weren't you requesting absolute proof on the bonds, or the $15 reset, or the amazonian river logs? Why didn't you need proof that anyone who says anything bad about rufus was a short?
You need to learn to make educated assumptions first off. That's what it's all about, because you will never get proof, not even investing in huge NASDAQ corporations.
Why? Because there is no proof, there are no assurances and there are no guarantees. You will never have all the information and that is the fundamental basis of investing. Those who can take the information that is known and make the most reasonable assumptions about what is not are successful. Anyone who can't do that doesn't stand a chance.
That's why we were all able to spot rufus as a fraud, he made gaurantees and we all know they don't exist. You took the opposite approach, you saw his guarantees as reason to buy and ignored every warning sign on the basis of "well you can't prove it." No one could provide you absolute proof that there was anything wrong with the situation and so the outcome was pretty inevitable.
