#8548 RE: Machine371 #8547

You're entire argument was that it couldn't be done.

No. My argument was not that it COULDN'T be done, but that it NEVER makes sense for RETAIL to short OTC stocks via EQUITY SHORTING. Why? Because for every 1000 shares you short, you need to have $250k cash in your account. 1000 shares is NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING. So it NEVER EVER NEVER makes sense to equity short an OTC stock. You need to have $250k in your account to make NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING.

The reality is it already has which is why the stock is where it's at currently.

IMUN, most likely, has a very high NAKED SHORT interest, which comes from the market makers. And yes, manipulation (naked shorting is considering manipulation) is indeed why the stock is where it's at, and manipulation is precisely why I like this stock so much, because it has been heavily manipulated downward, making it extremely undervalued.

You are telling us to short IMUN, though. Retail traders can ONLY equity short an OTC stock, though. And nobody here, including yourself, is putting up $250,000 to short 1000 shares of IMUN. If you do, you're incompetent. That's why the equity short interest is only 49k shares. Because it makes NO SENSE to short it.

If you're a market maker, and you're naked shorting it, well that's a different story. Your intent is to manipulate the market, and you expect to make money manipulating it.

But you, machine371, are not a market maker. So you're just plain telling us something that you, yourself, don't intend to do.
