In response to: Most likely there are a lot more bid orders in than displaying. Generally those orders start to show when price action reaches closer to that specific level. MMs can only display the most current position they have an order pending for at a time. A $10k sell order hitting would cause significant downward movement, but as you stated, active traders, and bid sitters will be in place to come in and provide support prior to .0001s ever being hit.
