The ONLY way to get rid of a naked short position STARTS with a strong upward trend that breaks resistance points.

Until then they know exactly what they are doing. So news hits that offers solid information on growth and if it starts to run those naked shorts will cover.

Simple as that.

The rest of this is all talk. Maybe the whole spinoff outside of the DTC will give proof of the naked shorting but until the short feels threatened by cost of covering (as they can’t hold the price down) they won’t just start to buy.
