Because of a sinus issue a couple years ago I purchased an electric sinus irrigating device called SinuPulse. The water pulses at the same frequency as the small hairs in the sinuses. I still use it occasionally because it's awesome.
Warm distilled water to apx 98° and pour into the reservoir. Add one sachet of premixed sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate, potassium chloride, & calcium chloride.
When I told my family physician about the device he didn't ask me if I stuffed the sachet up my nose. He would no longer be my Dr. if he had.
My point is that these sachets are convenient and the mix is consistent.
"Have you never added a sugar satchet to 'swish, spitable, nettypotable' coffee or icedtea? I can only imagine what other cognitive leaps you've been able to make."
