I'm 49:51 on Mexico's success. The folks are fantastic workers in two ways. They work hard and they work fast. The problem south of the border is the third quality - Quality. Quality can be fixed with training and monitoring and inspecting - no big deal but definately an added cost. Then there is the crime, Mexico legalized pot industry could be a 50's / 60's version of legalized gaming in Vegas or a regulated and safe environment like Blum Oakland. I vote the first version. Senior Al Capone will ride again. Maybe down the road things could change but Mexico's change will more likely come from a guillotine than a ballot.

I'm chuckling thinking of a Cannabis oriented business plan in Mexico, just picturing creative ways in which one could embed "paying off the police" as a business expense. You are a fool if you think you can operate in Mexico doing, well, pretty much anything without paying off cops.
