SQTX changed the record date three times and at a certain point I just sold my shares. This one was always a bit uncertain because they never gave us the pay date!
You should be glad that SIAF gave you the pay date and that Oslo Bors is already ex. So you know it's coming in the US. No... you haven't qualified yet. Only if you sell on or after the ex-date. To be announced by FINRA.
That one is a spin-off and also a stock dividend. They need a S-1 registration statement (prospectus) because they are planning to list the shares on Nasdaq. That's why they are delaying the payment date. No payment date, no ex-date.
SIAF also had to file a F-1 (similar to S-1) for foreign entities. Nobody was sure actually. But they seem convinced that they don't have to file one if TRW is distributing the shares instead of SIAF. So let's hope all goes well. Probably. Oslo is already ex-dividend.
