I've managed my own investments for some time now and while I still make mistakes I sleep better at night.
smart move IMO... sounds like you've learned alot over the years.
one other thing that guy said to me yesterday when I told him I occassionally dabbled in pennies... he said something about I might be able to get away with that if I was in my 20s... blah blah blah... wrong thing to say! LOL
I really hate pushy sales people... brokers are just a more sophisticated version of used car salesmen.
