No, you are missing the point. A rock drill like the one in the YouTube video you linked to is used for blast holes, construction, etc. Not for exploration.
And yet someone tells me they operated a "rock drill" for several years (which obviously makes them an exploration drilling expert)......yet won't discuss why drilling "down the vein" can be misleading.
