Shareholders have NOTHING to do with this company's woes or pathetic track record.

Fact check: The current clown show that masquerades as management of CCTC had no choice about the company going public. It was already a public company when they came along. Had been for a long time. If they can't deal with "vacillating throngs of shareholders", whatever that is, they are the ones who need to 'get out", as you say.

Believing this is understandable considering the recent lost opportunity. As for me, I'll take the current cash balance in my brokerage account over shares in hand any time. But to each her/his own.

Yes....and without us being public how would they have raised all those funds without giving out shares?

You are correct. When Robin came in in 2010, one of the first things he said was just that. Being public does have benefits, and drawbacks. The previous regime unfortunately lacked any real business experience. They were great crooks and lacked all kinds of morals and ethics though, LOL.
